Man, you gotta start charging admission to your Sunday jams, Mario. You and Bob have so much fun and in shows in the music. I like Bob even more now since we both don't play with a pic. His approach really brought out the relaxed feel of the progression, and that fretless is always a good choice in your hands. The violin was an interesting intrusion that was also most welcomed.

I always like songs about songs, and yours is no exception, Marty. I _slightly_ disagree with some lines (memories of the bad times also come alive in some songs and are also worth mentioning), but that's just my darker side showing. LOVE your vocals (I can hear the smile on your face), and your band sounds really good. 2 thumbs up Thanks for that suggestion, Brain. I thought of writing more about ALL kinds of songs, the good, the bad, even the polkas, but wanted to keep the song short. So i concentrated on the good stuff. Maybe my dark side could make a song about the bad times of our lives. Wow Marty...a fiddle and an acoustic guitar (it gives me chills)...I love it!...so, this is different and again shows the eclectic and muti-stylistic mind of a mad-man ( I mean genius of coarse)...I love the topic, the sentiment and the gist of the whole thing...so keep writing them, producing them and singing them for us...PLEASE! Cool, Dan. Glad it got to your chill center. Maybe a coarse madman would be a better moniker for this old dude. Still, ain't grumpy yet though. Seriously, thank you so much. Great song Marty and loved your choice of instruments. I thought the melody really shined and fit the words well. It drew me in right from the start - way to go. Brad Thanks, Brad. You, sir, have written some really fine songs, and I'm glad you like this one. Really good idea ... a song about songs. Nicely sung, and backing track. Great mix and production Thanks, Elliott. Much appreciated.

Well crafted piece, both musically and technically. Your music a delight to listen to and Churchill was a nice touch and apt reminder for today. Is their a message in the Morse code? Hey Storm, I always appreciate your reviews. Many thanks. Extra points for decyphering the code

Alan, I’m glad I stopped in this morning. Thanks for your kindness. Not many can put together an instrumental with your degree of competency. I was lucky enough to have had a few interactions with Gene Fields. He was a wonderful and caring man who was well respected in the steel guitar community. He fixed a problem I was having on a steel that he had built and I had bought used. He paid the shipping and talked with me quite a while. Who does something like that? He worked with Leo Fender for a while and was the designer of the Starcaster. It was Fender’s answer to the Gibson 335. Thanks to all the who mentioned me in the comments. A great way to start my day! Tom

The blues are still there. beautiful guitar solo Laurent I never stray too far away from the blues Thanks! Great work Dave and Marty! Love this. It has a real Santana feel to it. Nice chops y'all! Wasn't intending it to sound like Santana, but I played a lot of his songs back in the day. Some of that style stuck I guess Thanks! Dave & Marty, Another super song and production. All the expected excellence from both of you shines in this great song. Love the tone on the lead guitar! Marty's bass just the right amount of punch. A great example of excellence in music. Take care, Alan Appreciate that, Alan! The lyrics say it all. Superb musicianship at both the low and high end. The lead sings from the soul. Wowza! Thanks, Scott! I love songs about songs! This is so well done! I think we all can identify with the sentiment but not many of us can express it so well...I really liked your vocals on this one Dave...expressive and genuine...really nice! Really appreciate that, Dan! Music straight from the soul, and from the heart, you really tell what you are doing. I can feel how those guitar notes are directly connected to your soul. Great work with the vivid video that paints that soul on the canvas of musical realm. Excellent use of Marty, BIAB instruments and the drums sound really good. I enjoy to hear your singing, there's something very warm and personal. I don't usually listen to much blues, but I could listen to Blue Attitude all day. Janne This is possibly the nicest review I have ever received, thanks, Janne, you made my day!

A very worthy theme, which us old-timers will relate to. One of my oldest friends of 5 decades passed on last October, while younger and older ones passed before him, all remembered with love. I also really like the guitar lead in this. Thanks WaoBand for the comments. It’s a theme that becomes more present with age. Laurent

You absolutely cannot sing the blues if you have a hang nail. If your arm got taken off by a 'gator down in the delta, you can sing the blues.

Hi Floyd, I always enjoy the times you rock out a little, you do it really well IMHO. For my tastes I would bring up the B3 a little, the guy doing the solo parts. Bring him up to the same level as the solo guitar, especially when they are trading licks. Good song, enjoyed!

If you want to work in Biab directly and still want to transfer to Reaper, you can have Biab running in Plug-In mode so it's always on top of Reaper, then you can work simultaneously in both apps. Once you hit Reload Tracks it will instantly update the GUI with any new tracks or track changes that can be instantly transferred into Reaper:

Well you got 7 responses so far though the PG forum has been pretty dead for some time, if it was a Reaper forum there would be 100's of responses. Dan, this might get much better attention in the Off-Topic forum. I don't normally ever visit this particular forum page, as I don't use the VST plug in. I only stumbled upon it here by accident.

HI Floyd, Nice country rocker! Another gem - just like all the others. Like B.D., I think the drums could use a little more "pop" - but that's simply a personal opinion - feel free to ignore. Di always finds it easy to ignore me - so I have experience with being ignored!! As you know, I walk the halls of BIAB and pop into a few rooms I'd never been in before. I sometimes find something interesting! It's quite a maze to explore. BIAB a gift worth many times its price. Sometimes trouble can go hand-in-hand sometimes! Cool song - great presentation! Take care, Alan

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
