Man, you gotta start charging admission to your Sunday jams, Mario. You and Bob have so much fun and in shows in the music. I like Bob even more now since we both don't play with a pic. His approach really brought out the relaxed feel of the progression, and that fretless is always a good choice in your hands. The violin was an interesting intrusion that was also most welcomed.

Thanks for that suggestion, Brain. I thought of writing more about ALL kinds of songs, the good, the bad, even the polkas, but wanted to keep the song short. So i concentrated on the good stuff. Maybe my dark side could make a song about the bad times of our lives. wink

Cool, Dan. Glad it got to your chill center. wink Maybe a coarse madman would be a better moniker for this old dude. Still, ain't grumpy yet though. Seriously, thank you so much.

Alan, I’m glad I stopped in this morning. Thanks for your kindness. Not many can put together an instrumental with your degree of competency. I was lucky enough to have had a few interactions with Gene Fields. He was a wonderful and caring man who was well respected in the steel guitar community. He fixed a problem I was having on a steel that he had built and I had bought used. He paid the shipping and talked with me quite a while. Who does something like that? He worked with Leo Fender for a while and was the designer of the Starcaster. It was Fender’s answer to the Gibson 335. Thanks to all the who mentioned me in the comments. A great way to start my day! Tom

You absolutely cannot sing the blues if you have a hang nail. If your arm got taken off by a 'gator down in the delta, you can sing the blues.

Hi Floyd, I always enjoy the times you rock out a little, you do it really well IMHO. For my tastes I would bring up the B3 a little, the guy doing the solo parts. Bring him up to the same level as the solo guitar, especially when they are trading licks. Good song, enjoyed!

If you want to work in Biab directly and still want to transfer to Reaper, you can have Biab running in Plug-In mode so it's always on top of Reaper, then you can work simultaneously in both apps. Once you hit Reload Tracks it will instantly update the GUI with any new tracks or track changes that can be instantly transferred into Reaper: [Linked Image]

Dan, this might get much better attention in the Off-Topic forum. I don't normally ever visit this particular forum page, as I don't use the VST plug in. I only stumbled upon it here by accident.

Humble Pie - back using Ozone for mastering camog 04/02/24 08:17 AM Forum: User Showcase Jump to new postsJump to new posts
I've been struggling to get my tracks to play back at similar volumes (had a little dig at Ozone last week for sounding 'digital') - was using T-Racks Max for the past couple of years, lately a little voice told me to try Ozone again! All my level problems solved in one go - plus a bit of el guitar distortion fixed on track 4 "Quiet Nights In", here are the links to my most recent re-finished 5 tracks: https://carlmogensen.bandcamp.com/track/1-for-kay-soft-mellow https://carlmogensen.bandcamp.com/track/2-jenny-americana-instrumental https://carlmogensen.bandcamp.com/track/3-obrigado-brazil-latin-nylon-guitar https://carlmogensen.bandcamp.com/track/4-quiet-nights-in-chill-nstrumental https://carlmogensen.bandcamp.com/track/5-still-lakes-chill-instrumental Thanks to the frequent mention here on the forum of Ozone - and thanks again to all who listened and posted very nice comments on these tunes!! Now keenly awaiting BB 2024 Mac!! Carl

HI Floyd, Nice country rocker! Another gem - just like all the others. Like B.D., I think the drums could use a little more "pop" - but that's simply a personal opinion - feel free to ignore. Di always finds it easy to ignore me - so I have experience with being ignored!! As you know, I walk the halls of BIAB and pop into a few rooms I'd never been in before. I sometimes find something interesting! It's quite a maze to explore. BIAB a gift worth many times its price. Sometimes trouble can go hand-in-hand sometimes! Cool song - great presentation! Take care, Alan

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
