The BIAB 9 descriptions says "Most RealTracks now display notation showing the notes that are being played. " How can I find out which ones RealCharts can interpret? I'm interested in the RealSax from BIAB 2008 - In 2009, can one print out the Soloist parts generated with RealSax?

Maybe this can get you started. It's from the Help, Real Tracks. You should look at the full entry, but here's an excerpt:
RealTracks with an "N" in the Chart column of the Assign RealTracks to Track dialog can display notation showing the notes that are being played. Some Guitar RealTracks also show tab, and accurate on-screen fretboard guitar display to show what is being played on guitar.

Note that if you generate solos via the Solo Window, you can select Edit and elect to display Notation, request Stereo Tracks and display Guitar Tab where appropriate.

Thanks for the replies... I might have been a little unclear - I don't actually have BIAB 9, and wanted to know if BIAB 9 can notate the realsax solos (ie, prior to buying BIAB 9, because if it can't notate the realsax solos, I'm not sure I'd want to buy it). So I just wondered if someone who owns BIAB 9 can tell me if it RealCharts will notate those solos. If I understand correctly, RealCharts and the ability to notate the RealTracks soloists is only in BIAB 9.
Lyn, I appreciate your reply, but I'm afraid it went over my head...I don't really know what the 'solo window' is...

I just checked my BIAB 2009 for you and all of the Sax RealTracks I have there will indeed yield notation that follows what they play.

The alto sax is one of the instruments for which I did a lot of transcriptions in preparation for making Real Tracks out of his playing. That blues sax player did a lot of note bending, as one often does in sax playing, and executed some wicked runs that will look pretty challenging when you see the notation.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
