As recent threads have shown, unfolding a song (typing or pasting in all of the chords of a song down the sheet instead of using repeats) is often a simple and effective way to get certain features in BiaB to work.
However, doesn’t that eliminate the “middle chorus” feature of BiaB?
As I understand, all Styles in BiaB will play differently during the second chorus of a three-chorus song because that is (traditionally in Jazz ) where the soloist would play.
Well, if the song is just one long chorus though, BiaB will play it constantly “straight” all the way through, correct?
So, it would not seem that unfolding is really a one-to-one exact replication solution.
And there is still the outstanding question as to why the F5 Bar Settings do not seem to work in a multi-chorus song.

Check out Options, Preferences, Overrides. There is a checkbox for "Vary Style in Middle Choruses". That is on, by default, which explains why you get the B substyle (the busier sounding one) in the middle choruses. Of course, with one long song, this doesn't apply.

If you have a song with 32 bars and use all blue part markers and it repeats 3 times if that box is checked it'll do the middle chorus as if it were a green part marker. If you unfold just put in the green part marker your self for the start of the second section. Same thing.

Right; I should qualify that with one long (unfolded) song, it doesn't apply, unless the whole long song is repeated (which is unusual).

Just manually place Green part markers where you want the swingin' to take place in an unfolded song.
Of course, you must then place a Blue marker on the last chorus again if you desire the swingin' to stop for the last time thru.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
