When purchasing the Audiophile Edition of Band in a Box 2014 and getting the Bonus 6 and Bonus 12 Paks - do the additional RealTracks come in the uncompressed WAV format? I would be rather disappointed to pay extra for the additional tracks if they are of lesser quality - especially after paying so much for the Audiophile Edition. Thanks! Don

One exception happens at patch time, and it is temporary. RealTrack updates are generally released with .WMA files, but after a time (say, a week or so) another download is made available that is much larger for the audiophile version and will update the .WAV files. Such was just the case with Build #380. This is important because recent posts indicate the hard drives are shipping with Build #379. The current #380 audiophile patch will update the .WAV files and also supplies a few in the bonus pak that were identified as missing, such as the jazz poll winners. As Mac said, not to worry. This company does things right and they always make good. BIAB 2024 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 6.5 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6; Win 11 Home. OP don4777 Enthusiast D Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 66 Raleigh, NC, USA	I couldn't find the WAV version of the Bonus 12 Pak RealTracks on the PGMusic website for download so I contacted support. Turns out that they do NOT provide WAV versions of the RealTracks on the Bonus 12 Pak. The exact comment was... "I asked about this and according to the dev’s we include audiophile wav versions for the String Quartet RealTracks set in the bonus 6PAK We do not include audiophile versions for the two RealTrack sets in the second 6 items (7-12 in the bonus 12Pak)". I also discovered a few facts regarding the Bonus 12 Pak that I didn't realize prior to ordering. 1 - The Piano Chord Directory was already included on the Audiophile hard drive. Just needed to run that Installer. 2 - MIDI SuperTracks Set 16 "Killer Country Soloists" was already installed on the Audiophile hard disk. 3 - Artist Performance Set 5: Andy Leftwich Bluegrass was already installed on the Audiophile hard disk. 4 - Soloist Set 5: Bluegrass and Bluegrass MIDI Fakebook was already included on the Audiophile hard disk. So the only content on the Bonus 12 Pak of interest to those ordering the 2014 AudioPhile Edition is the WMA versions for RealTracks Bonus Sets 2 and 3. The WMA versions sound good so the Bonus 12 Pak may still be worthwhile. Don

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
