I know that I can silence instruments by using a full stop after the chord and then nominating which instruments to play, ie, entering C.DBG will only play the drums, bass and guitar but Im sure I've read on this forum where there is an easier way to achieve the same result but can't seem to find it.
Can anyone advise how to do this?

Read my post on muting real tracks further down tonites list. I got an answer about right clicking on the bar bringing up a menu and going from there. I am going to try it right now and will advise.

Use the "bar settings" to mute whatever Biab instrument part @ any measure.
Be sure to unmute the part where you want them to come back in. The RT's will follow the bars settings as well.

I tried it just now, and it seems to want to mute for entire choruses at a time. Or did I miss a box to check. I am trying for more of a measure by measure control? I did not see an "@any measure" area?

Never mind my last. I see how. when you are on measure one, all that stuff you can change in "bar settings" is for measure (bar) one. Duh! I know, we over fifty duz learn slowly. So you can manipulate all the tracks bar by bar. Just happens to be what I wanted to do. Thank you everyone. I may not have any questions for a day or two. LOL

The RightClick and Mute at any bar will mute the entire bar for whatever instrument tracks you pick.
If you need or want to have your virtual players sit out on beats within the bar rather than the entire bar, RightClick and choose Chord Settings, follow the dialog boxes in the lower RH corner of the window that opens. At top are the four beats of the bar selected by radio buttons for each beat.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
