I have used BIAB many times with the midi going to samplers and then to my Digital recorder. Now that I have Real Tracks also, I want to include those tracks on my recorder with the sampled sounds. I have the Dms, Bass & Harmonica coming from Real Tracks and the 3 midi instruments going out to the sampler. How do I get it all into my Digital Recorder, am I limited?

You've really not given us a lot of information. If you have a multitrack digital recorder, where you can record multiple tracks, then you can record a track for each instrument. If you have a single two track recorder, that makes it a bit more difficult. Could you describe, IN DETAIL, what your routing looks like, what your samplers are, how their outputs go, and so forth? Once we get a clear picture of your 'studio' then it becomes easier to answer your question. Remember, details, Details, DETAILS! Gary

Welcome to the forum . . .
What Gary said as that is how I do all of my recordings, BIAB via Laptop to Boss 1180 digital recorder. Sometimes I record each track separately as Gary pointed out above, and sometimes I feel lazy and record all tracks at one time. As we get more specifics from you, answers will come.

I render my RT's to wave files and then import them into my recorder here. They import via USB here.

Sorry guys, about the lack of details. I use a Roland 2400 Digital recorder it has 24 tracks so that's not a problem. I always record each instrument to a separate track.
Could you describe, IN DETAIL, what your routing looks like: MIDI out from my PC to Sample players (Roland U110 and Kork P3) and several analog synths. Outputs from all of these go to the Roland 2400. Drums on the 1st 4 tracks and then each instrument on it's own track. I then add acoustic instruments and vocals with a mic right into the Roland 2400. I want to record the Real Tracks instruments along with all of the others each RT on it's own track.
I hope that I gave you a clearer picture of what I'm trying to do. Please let me know if you need any other info. Thanks!

With BIAB, you can do that, but you have to Solo each RealTrack and make a separate recording pass for each.
However, if you were to transfer the BIAB song to RealBand, and if you have a multiple output soundcard, it would be possible to assign an output port to each track of audio and record direct to the 2400 in one pass.

Ovid, If you have the VS-2400CD, you also should be able to go about this in a slightly different way.
First, if your computer comes with a digital output on the sound card, as many of them today are, you output the RTs, soloed as Mac suggested, directly into to VS-2400. Next, you could render each of the RTs from BIAB as an individual wave file, burn them to a CD, and then import the wave files via the CD burner on the 2400.
Finally, if you have a high quality sound card, you can play each as a separate file and record it in analog to the 2400.
Personally, I'd render, burn to a CD-RW and copy. Too bad it doesn't have a USB input.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
