Hello, I hope someone can help me out. I use BIAB 2007 and am trying to enter a song that changes from 3/4 to 4/4 time, and back, several times within the song. My question is if there are any styles that will change with the time changes? I don't want to use different styles within the song and can find no help on how to do this. Any ideas? Thanks - Padraig

Welcome to the forum, Padraig. This is a difficult one, or not so difficult in your case (if you are only working in MIDI, in other words). You can change the settings at any bar by <right click> and then selecting 'Bar Settings' from the menu. With pure MIDI (seeing as you have v2007, you can only have pure MIDI), then this is perfectly possible. It becomes more difficult when you are using RealTracks. Just select the style that seems right for the music as a whole.

bb2007 may or may not have that feature in it, I don't recall. Way to find out is to RightClick at the bar and see if you can select "Bar Settings" and if you can, whether or not the Bar Settings window that pops up has an entry for Number of Beats in the bar. Before the advent of that feature, we used to invoke a Style Change to get the 4/4 and 3/4. There is a workaround on that if you want the song to start in 3/4 and then go to 4/4, see the pgmusic FAQs for bb2007 for more info, but it involves starting with a blank measure of 4/4 first in order to get it to work. If you start with a 4/4 measure, all works okay.
