Looking for chords to Jimmy Winchester's Little Glass of Wine. I do have some of them worked out but not yet ready for play. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. I should have added the bridge is what is mostly missing. Thanks,

"Starry, starry nights..."
heh.
Had not heard this one before, Danny, but it now has me wondering whether or not the ghosting was intentional or subconcious.
To be fair, the chords don't track both exactly all the way through, but there ya go.

Thanks for your effort none the less.

Mac,
You are on the right track as the lyric and tempo, especially the 1st couple of lines, lend itself to Starry Starry Night.
After a few hours I am at the point where I think I have a playable version. I'll post the chords I have come up with as soon as I am finished the bridge that so anyone who likes to will be able to have a go at it. Probably Monday as I have a couple of gigs this weekend.
Thanks again,

Helps a lot, I am working with them as I type, about 90% there.
Thanks again as this is a great head start.

Starting woith your structure above this is what I came up with that seems to work for me, of course I transposed to Eb:
Fm Caug Fm7 Cm Gaug Cm Fm Caug Fm7 Cm7 Fm7 Bb7sus
Thanks again!

Glad it helped. But I named one of the chords seriously wrong, the Gbdim should be Gbaug. Sorry about that, it no doubt sounded pretty bad there. Your Caug is correct, and is actually played the same (in your key) as the Gbaug that I misnamed. I use Gbaug (would be Eaug in your key) as it shows the bass moving down in half steps. Are you using a capo on the 3rd fret and otherwise playing as in the Jesse Winchester video, with a "C shape chord" for the Eb? Also, my chords were missing timing information. These are mine again, corrected, and transposed to Eb: Code:
bridge
Fm Caug Fm7 Fm7 | | | | |
Cm G7 Cm7 Cm7 | | | | |
Db Cm7 Db Cm7 | | | | |
Fm Caug Fm7 Bbm7 Bbm7 | | | | |
I have the verse also, if you would like. If you are using a capo, would it help to name the chords as if the capo'd fret was the nut? In other words, instead of writing it in the actual key of Eb, write it in C?

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
