I have looked everywhere trying to find out how to move all entered chords forward one place. Sometimes I need to go back and add a missed chord somewhere and don't want to have to delete and re-enter everything. Has anyone found any info on this.

Hi asteeler, Welcome to the forums If you wanted to advance the chords by a whole bar, you could insert a bar at the location where you wanted to move them forward. The Edit menu contains this option. Regards, Noel

1) Highlight the bar on the chord grid where you need to place the new empty bar.
2) File -> Insert Bars and be sure that "1" is entered.
3) Hit Okay
You should now have an empty bar inserted at the highlighted bar point and all other chords "moved forward" by one bar.

Are you using a midi file as a melody? I usually import a midi file, then enter my chords around it. Sometimes I miss a bar, (or cut and paste incorrectly). If you have a melody track laid out and you have a missing bar somewhere, you can copy and paste the chord structure one whole measure to the correct position, then enter the chords you need in the original bar. If you insert a bar, you also create an additional bar in the melody. But if you are creating the melody as you go, I guess using the insert bar function is your best bet.

If you are trying to move the chords by say 1 or 2 beats then from the Menu bar select Edit --> Nudge Chords/Melody and there are many options in the dialog to move the chords by a specified number of beats.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
