Of course, in biblical times, adultery only applied to women. Men could have all the women they want. Slavegirls too.

Figures I'd be born in the wrong times!

Adultery was for men and women. It is one of the Ten Commandments. People did not listen any better in biblical times than they do today. Luke 16:18 18 “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced from her husband commits adultery.

Maybe he is not trying to talk to one only.

Maybe he is talking to whosoever will.

I find those that cannot simply ignore that which they don't like to be rather entertaining...

Peter has obviously decided to remain neutral on this. Have at it.
I haven't always been a great person either however I'm Jewish and can't give myself to Jesus as he doesn't exist. Am I screwed or what?

The bible is full of kings and others who had multiple wives. Why in the world anybody would want more than one is a mystery, but it's right there in the scriptures.

And here all this time I thought homosexuals were the REAL threat to marriage!

I musta been misinformed.

I'm with ya there. Why is it people cannot simply practice their religion without trying to sell to the world like an infomercial?

Perhaps it is because that Christians are mandated in several places the New Testament to spread the Gospel.

For one who claims to be so well-read on the bible, you should already know that...

Yeah, I know lots of people use the bible as an excuse to push their beliefs on everyone else. But it really doesn't really say that. It helps overcome their uncertainty to get others to back them up.

Rather like the muslims who believe in killing anyone who is not.

Oh, but it does say that.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

That is indeed Mark 16:15.

So, if you miss telling a few million people they're automatcially goin' to hell? It says Jesus is the only way. Like Hitler at the Nuremberg rallys - ein volk, ein reich, ein fuhrer!

The Muslims are SURE they're right too. So are all the other religions.

Nah, my father-in-law was what he liked to call a "completed Jew". A Jewish man who came to Christ - plenty of 'em around.

Someone gave me the suggestion to use the same post to tell about my blog, so there would not be so many different post going on at once. I had not thought about doing it that way. Thanks to whoever gave the suggestion. Here is my latest blog.

Well, they don't call themselves Christians, they call themselves practioners of "Messianic Judaism" and still worship in Synagogs, including the Talmud, celebrate all the Jewish holidays as well as the Christian along with the New Testament teachings. "Insider" term -- "The Remnant".

I enjoy worship with my friends at one of the local Messianic Temples several times a year. The minor mode rules. <g>

Someone claiming to be so well-read on the subject should know that also...

Met a lady at the shop the other day and she did a family tree search and found that back in the 1600's in Germany/France area her family was Jewish. One of the sons stayed Orthodox and the other became French Huguenot because of the persecution they suffered.
There are a lot of Christians that have Jewish roots. As far as I know, I'm just adopted into Abraham's family through Christ, either way, it is fine with me.
One of my favorite musicians is Paul Wilbur who's music i'm sure you know is about "Messianic Judaism", such as the song Adonai.

Thank you, Robert, for condensing your posts into one thread.

Now all of us "swine" will be able to feed from one trough. Thanks, Robh and Lawrie for the evocative porcine metaphor... yes, I know, it's in the bible.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
