Another nice lyric supplied by Cindy Prince.

Lyrics:
I should have known when I looked at the pictures
I should have known when I saw your face
I should have known my heart would start achin'
And I'd be taken back to that place

I should have never got down that old photo album
I should have never opened it to see
I should have never let those tears begin fallin'
Cause I know what it does to me

Chorus
I fall back to another time
I can hear that same melody
I fall back to another time
I let the memories take over

Back Inside a memory

I should have realized how much it still hurts
I should have realized.the pain is still deep
I should have realized it overtakes me
Its a love that will never sleep

Repeat chorus

The tracks: I use the style as it was: Just a little editing on the fiddle and a few holds on the Mandolin but otherwise left well alone.

Cindy did an excellent job with the lyrics, and your arrangement (and singing) fits perfectly.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Joanne,

You made a beautiful song! Cindy made very nice lyrics, but your performance bring them to life.
And that mandoline fits in very nice.
I listened thoroughly if I could hear something to advise you in, give instruction for or tips on, or just to complain about, but could not find anything. That's a joke, because I knew I would only enjoy this recent work of you and Cindy.

Nice work - I love how sincere and gentle it sounds. Really captivating, and the harmonies are phenomenal. Plus, Cindy really did do a great job with the lyrics. They really add to the music, in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Joanne,

This is beautiful.

You've taken Cindy's words and really made them shine. Everything about this -- writing, presenting, arranging, mixing, producing -- really appeals to me greatly. You've done a terrific job. Your vocals a superb -- crystal clear and polished with a professional sounding clarity. Your harmonies are excellent. I love the band.

I hope this song goes somewhere for you both. It really deserves to.

In a nutshell, very, very enjoyable!

All the best,
Noel

Hi Joanne,

that is a very beautiful song: Great appealing lyrics, a beautiful catchy melody and as always sung brilliantly with so much feeling. The RealStyle works perfectly and the fiddle just adds sufar and spice to the tune. Very enjoyable !

Joanne,

Cindy's lyrics are wonderful.
The heartache is transmitted straight.
Your vocals and melodies are exactly along the lyrics.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Pretty and aching in a good way, RTs were matched perfectly to your voices IMO.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
