David Snyder is a Raleigh, North Carolina-based Independent Artist. He is classically trained and plays guitar, violin, bass, keyboards, mandolin, percussion, Band-in-a-Box and the radio. He is also a Regional Coordinator for the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), is a writing member and publishing member of ASCAP, and has numerous writing credits with a wide variety of recorded artists. He writes in almost every genre, including alternative, jazz, "new country," bluegrass, Americana, rock, psychedelic, soul, jazz, gospel, funk, fusion and electronica. His music has also been performed at the Julliard School and the Lincoln Center.

David is an avid Band-in-Box and RealBand user and uses the tools to collaborate with other musicians across the country and as final production tools in his home recording studio. He also uses Band-in-a Box to teach music theory and composition to aspiring songwriters. He will release three new albums in the next year under his own record label, Day of Faith Records, with many of the tracks utilizing RealBand (with effects and mastering) in the final production work. David has been playing the guitar since the age of 12 and playing professionally since the age of 15.

David’s fondest musical memory is having received some guitar tips and lessons from Chet Atkins after sneaking backstage at a concert when he was 15. Chet told him that the secret to success in music was to "just keep playing."
