PG Music Home Forums General Discussion User Showcase

The User Showcase is an area where users of PG Music products (e.g. Band-in-a-Box or RealBand) can post links to their original song compositions, for others to listen to and comment on.

• The songs must be originals, no copyrighted or "cover" songs. You must have all of the rights to the songs.
• Start a new topic/thread for each new song - don't add new songs to an existing thread. The title of the song should be in your post "Subject".
• If you use SoundCloud to host your song, have a valid URL in your song post, and do not have the song listed as private, then your song may be included in the 'BIAB User Showcase radio'.
• Please limit the threads on this forum to User Showcase postings. Other threads (i.e. if you aren't posting an original song) will be moved to the appropriate forum.

In the "Body" of your forum post, please provide the following information (the more info, the better):

• (Required) URL to the song. This is the URL to an external site like SoundCloud - the songs are not hosted on our site.
• (Required) Song title
• Background information about the song
• Song Lyrics
• Indicate which tracks were recorded by you, and which tracks were generated by Band-in-a-Box or RealBand.
• If Band-in-a-Box or RealBand have been used, please provide information as to which styles or RealTracks were used. Tip: In Band-in-a-Box, the Song Memo contains the names of the RealTracks used, and you can copy/paste from that.
• List other programs used in the production (e.g. DAWs like Pro Tools, Cakewalk, Cubase etc.)
• Any other additional information about your recording and mixing process - e.g. what effects were used in the production (reverb, auto-tune etc).

Note: If you later want to make changes to your song post (e.g. if the URL changes or the song is removed), you can edit your post if it was created fairly recently. Otherwise contact us to make the change; you can send this and other related requests to radio@pgmusic.com or by messaging the User Showcase forum moderator.

About Band-in-a-Box User Showcase Radio

We have a few playlists on SoundCloud containing some songs from the User Showcase. TIP - Make sure Shuffle Play is turned on to hear the songs in random order.
