(I thought there was a bit more reverb than necessary on the vocals.)

Lovely tune. Great vocals and production . . . but that’s not a surprise from you . . . you always seem to hit the mark and do so here. Not sure there’s too much reverb—maybe a tad—tough to tell without hearing an alternate version with it dialed down. Good stuff!

Nice job. Great vocals and a good backing track. I agree with Floyd that it's a little heavy on the reverb for the vocals, but I will say the more I got into it, the less I noticed that.

Dan, great country sound. Very tasteful steel in there. The piano and bass also grabbed my attention, as did some of those touches like the muted guitar, etc. As always, the mix and balance is just terrific. I also think this is an example of how well you do at mixing in those BGV's. Great song, Dan.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
