My suggestion is to divide the menus and icons of Band-in-a-Box into three main groups, Songwriting, Teaching and Learning and Production.

Jim, can you elaborate on the idea a little? Forum? Software?

P.S. Is that Charlie on the last photo?

RustySpoon#, Thanks for asking for some clarification. This suggestion is for the main Band-in-a-Box program. I don't know who the person is in the photograph. The screen shot came from +++ THIS +++ PG Music website page.

My thought is why not organize the program the same way PG Music advertises it.

Hmm...
Ok my 2 cents.

I think that approach will not appeal to intermediate users like myself or advanced users...

However the learning and teaching part is interesting. But that would fall under "Help" category. I have seen some pretty interesting "help" sections in the past that have tutorials with diagrams, videos, etc.
The problem with "learning" is that material is soooo scattered that it is insane. There is not a single professional (I am not talking about couple youtubers) videos made that I know of that just show making of a basic tune from scratch from A-Z, that is using BIAB from 2021-23.

A complete "song in 10 (15) minutes", video with accompanying PDF (step by step). While making this video, explaining briefly, WHAT is BIAB. That is where I believe "Learning" should start.

P.S.I think that is Charlie Gannon in the photo. He recorded about a dozen of RTs for us. A few are very good. I might be wrong, but sure looks like him.

Or allow customization for old and new users:

I was thinking in terms of consolidating the menus and other toolbars down to four menu headers and toolbars labeled "Songwriting", Learning & Teaching" and "Production" to fall in line with PG Music's advertising as seen in the screen shot above.

Band-in-a-Box's Minimal GUI interface already has a Custom tab where users can choose to display only the icons the user desires.

PG Music can consolidate the Band-in-a-Box menu headers into the "Songwriting", Learning & Teaching" and "Production" groups to fall in line with PG Music's advertising as seen in the screen shot above. Include a Custom menu header to allow the user to display whatever menu items the user desires.
