Interesting Joanne, I just did a Google search and this site came up, https://theselyricsdonotexist.com/Putting guitar in Topic gave me this song, probably can give a few ideas for a song, but not useable as a whole song. Agreed. The lyrics do need tweaking…
But it certainly gets the creative juices flowing… it is just a tool (like Band-in-a-box).
In my app, I used “guitar” as a prompt for a happy song in the style of Joan Baez.
Title: Strumming My Guitar
Verse 1:

Joanne that is really impressive, did it really generate that without much tweaking on your part?
Now those lyrics do make sense compared to what I got on that site.
Update.
Just found the site, which took a while, so in that regard your app would be a lot more convenient
Asked it to write a song and I got this, which is perfectly usable. Very impressed with what it can do. Having tried a few more examples its so much fun to use (I think should probably be in Biab 2024)

Clever technology but I really don't see a need for it personally as I write my own & enjoy that process as well as hamfistedly creating chord progressions and stabs of melody.
If the aim is to create & express rather than "create content" or experiment with potential then it's more a diversion that path.
Of course, if the aim is to enjoy then it probably serves the purpose.

Chat GPT is a godsend to be honest. It helps me in many ways Me too! I am using it in so many ways. Yesterday, for my “real job” I asked it what the difference is between SOAP and REST api. Then I gave it some SOAP xml and asked it to convert to REST xml….fantastic results! By the way, on my YT video I had a comment to include the ability to take existing lyrics and check them, line by line, for consistency in meter. Is this something that people would see as useful?
