I'm on Big Sur OS 11.17.1.
I use BIAB to record my voice over tracks and listen.
Since upgrading this no longer works. I get error message:-
There was an error converting /Applications/Band-in-a-Box/Data/TEMPMAIN.WAV to WAV format. The error is 1718449215
BIAB 2020 - have updated
Any ideas anyone?

Have you given permission in the security settings for biab to use the mic ?

Yes I have. It was working fine one day and not the next. I do have a dim memory of something similar happening a long time ago but can't remember how to fix it......

I only got my imac less than a year ago so i'm still on the learning curve really. Would never go back to a windows pc after having this

Go to Options | Core Audio Setup and check the input device. Select 44.1 KHz sample rate if it is available there and try recording again.
