OP John F Apprentice J Joined: Jul 2011 Posts: 118 Arizona	In a lot of the songs I create, the style offers a snare drum with hi hat or ride cymbal, which seems a bit harsh sounding for what I'm trying to accomplish. I frequently right click on the drum track and select Real Drums in Song to change to a more favorable side stick when offered. Very often it works, but sometimes it does not change the drum track even though the option is listed and selected there. There is no regenerate button. Can anybody tell me what I need to do to accomplish this on 100% of the times I try it? Music is what feelings sound like. Windows 11, Behringer UMC204HD Audio Interface, BIAB/RB 2022 Ultra Pak Plus

Freeze all of the tracks, Unfreeze the drum track, then hit the play+ button to regenerate the drum track Remember to unfreeze the tracks you want unfrozen. This has been a continuing issue. It would be nice if the new drum track would generate itself upon changing. Last edited by Thunderthud; 04/01/23 03:30 AM.

His latest video, Convert MIDI Chords into AI Vocal Harmonies with ACE Studio and Band-in-a-Box, he explains in detail how you can use the Melodist feature in Band-in-a-Box with ACE Studio. Follow along as he goes from "nothing" to "something" with his Band-in-a-Box MIDI Melodist track, using ACE Studio to turn it into a vocal track (or tracks, you'll see) by adding lyrics for those notes that will trigger some amazing AI vocals!
