Thought I'd try out Micro Chords to see if I could come close to the rhythm of the last bar of the intro of Beach Boys "God Only Knows". Chords are simple (E - E A Bb -), rhythm seems simple (1 - & 3 & - ). Anyone up on Micro Chords sufficient to make this sound good? Using RealTracks?

Thanks

See manual. https://www.pgmusic.com/manuals/bbw2022upgrade/chapter3.htm#microchords-multiple-chords-per-beat

Only midi, no RTs.

Quote:
Note: The soloist and background RealTracks do not follow MicroChords by design because playing would be too chopping if they did..

Not true, I just microchorded acoustic guitar RealTrack ~368.

The manual specifies that soloist and background RTs don't work, which must mean that some other type does, but I don't know what distinction is being drawn there and how to tell what kind of track a track is. What is my ~368, that it works? Is it chording, is that what is needed?

So much for "all tracks are the same".

Tested this using RealTrack style _PJONPBA.

Using a microchord only for beat 2.5 ("two-and").

The B/F# and the C/G are on beat 3 and 3.5 respectively. I used the chord settings to hold the C/G and also give it an 1/8th push (so it sounds on beat 3.5).
