BaiB 2023 - After updating, the DAW plugin 5.4.12 fails in Logic (10.7.7), yet oddly it works in GarageBand?
Edit. If I put a tick in the plug-in manager in Logic where it says Crashed etc, then hit Done. Restart Logic and head to AU Instruments the Plugin shows up under Incompatible. Select it and it works fine, very odd.
Not sure if it's just my system or not. If others updated to 704 and are having the same problem its a work around.

Yeah, I had the same thing here.
I rolled back to the 703 build and it's working again.
I posted the crash logs from the AU vaildation tool here, so hopefully the PG folks will have a fix soon.

How do you rollback? Just reinstall 703? Where can I find it?

Hi Bob, I used a program called Suspicious Package to extract the plugin component file from the 703 build install package, and replaced the 704 component file in my AU plugin folder. https://www.mothersruin.com/software/SuspiciousPackage/It's a free program it works really well, and comes in handy for stuff like this. Here is the 703 package : https://update.pgmusic.com/support/mpatch/bb2023_mac_update_build703.pkgHopefully this helps. - Jay

I tried the putting the tick and restarting Logic (same versions as TRYUK) and it won't load.
Help!

No problem here. AU validation is always a PIA for be in Logic since I have over 800 now. Interestingly, the DAW plugin 5.4.12 did not give me any grief this time.
