I was able to get the harmonizer working by going back to patch "bb2022_mac_update_build611" but for some reason the color of the wave form was black in the audio so I had to keep changing the color of the wave form in the color picker. The harmonizer does not crash in the build but it does not sound good either.

The performance of BIAB on Mac mini M1 running Rosetta 2 is slow, a lot of spinning beach balls.
When using the harmonizer in patch update "bb2023_mac_update_build704" it crashes every time, and also the wave form color is black and I have to change it with the color picker.

I'm running MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 (a) on a Mac mini with 8GB ram.
These same problems happen on my MacBook Pro M1 16GB ram

It there anyway to fix these problems?

Thanks - we will fix the harmonizer. Regarding the colour of the waveform, the default is white on a black background. You can change it to anything you want in the Audio edit window settings, and in my testing that setting does persist between sessions. I'm not sure why it would be black or would always defaulting to black if that's what you are saying.

In my testing, Band-in-a-Box is very fast on an M1 with Ventura - all operations are quite a bit faster than they are on my intel iMac or any other intel Mac that I've tried. If you see a pattern, let us know.

Hello Andrew thank you.

I went through the whole setup again and I was able to get BIAB running faster I had to run Rosetta 2 install manually and not from the command line. I also added my user account with read write permissions on the "Band-in-a-Box" directory and applied these permissions recursively "Apply to all items"
The color picker works this time around and the color stays the same between session.

Removed BIAB from Full Disk Access in Privacy & Security then re-added.

Rosetta: I didn't get prompted to run Rosetta installer the first time BIAB was launched. I never installed Rosetta before this, all my programs run on Apple silicon natively far as I know. Ran Rosetta manually from this directory.

/System/Library/CoreServices/Rosetta 2 Updater.app

I'll wait for the patch no worries.
I think the files Harmonizer produced were garbled due to my Mac's settings.

Thanks again.
