I am glad that he is selling out arenas.
He is a fantastic musician and composer and deserves all of the recognition he is getting.

I reckon it's only a matter of time until Bear McCreary does the same. Between him and Hans, they are the titans of the movie music genre.

I watched one of his live performance videos. Hearing the vocalist and orchestra with all hose string players, it occurred to me that he has opened himself up to lawsuits from the musician's union for putting 4 synthesizer players out of work...
And to fuel the anti side of the reading debate, he doesn't read and had just 2 weeks of formal training.
I didn't know anything about him or McCreary because I don't go to movies and have no interest in anything remotely related to sci fi so I have no place to hear this work.
The last movie I went to was in 2012.

I don't go to movies and have no interest in anything remotely related to sci fi so I have no place to hear this work.
The last movie I went to was in 2012. Not even a Star Trek fan, as a kid and even now I will have a watch at those.
