Hallo Zusammen,
ich bin neu hier und überlege, mir BiaB zuzulegen.
Ich mache mir Playbacks mit Logic ProX, um dazu Saxophon zu spielen.
Ich möchte BiaB in Logic einbinden.
Zuhause arbeite ich an einem IMac. Bin aber oft mit dem Wohnmobil unterwegs und habe dann ein IBook dabei.
Kann ich BiaB auf beiden Rechnern installieren und nutzen?
Ich weiß auch noch nicht, mit welcher Version ich starten sollte.
Vielleicht bekomme ich ja hier Antwort auf meine Fragen.

tommes Band-in-a-Box can be installed and authorized on up to three computers. Band-in-a-Box for Mac will work with your IMac computer. It should also work with your IBook since it is a laptop computer. Band-in-a-Box kann auf bis zu drei Computern installiert und autorisiert werden.

Willkomen im Forum (es gibt weiter unten in der Forenliste auch ein Forum speziell für deutschsprachige NutzerInnen)!
Band in a Box ist ausgezeichnet dafür geeignet, schnell und unkompliziert perfekt klingende Backingtracks (gerade mit den sogenannten RealTracks) zu generieren.
Du kannst die Tracks direkt in Band in a Box erzeugen und abspielen, dort schnell Tonarten, Spurlautstärken, Instrumente, Tempi etc. wechseln.
Du brauchst also, wenn es dir nur um das Erzeugen von Backingtracks geht, im Grunde keine externe DAW wie Logic.
Aber natürlich kannst du Band in a Box auch als Plugin von Logic nutzen (dafür gibt es ein eigenes BiaB-Plugin) oder die Tracks exportieren und in Logic importieren.
Band in a Box wird in verschiedenen Paketen angeboten, die sich lediglich in der Anzahl der mitgelieferten RealTracks und Styles unterscheiden, das Programm Band in a Box ist stets identisch und auch das VST-DAW-Plugin.
Wie schon Jim Fogle geschrieben hat, kannst du das Programm parallel auf deinem Desktop und deinem Laptop installieren.
Welches Paket du auswählst, hängt auch davon ab, in welchen musikalischen Stilen du Tracks erzeugen willst (Jazz, Pop, Rock, Volksmusik, Country ...) – in allen Paketen ist von jedem etwas enthalten, im Basispaket Pro findest du eine eher kleine, aber möglicherweise für dich ausreichende Auswahl. Du kannst natürlich später auch upgraden oder einzelne Stylepakete dazukaufen, aber je nach Budget kann es deutlich günstiger sein, gleich das UltraPak zu kaufen, dass dann weitgehend alle Styles enthält.
Es gibt einen deutschen Vertrieb in Berlin, m3c.de, die dir sicher gern bei der Auswahl des richtigen Pakets weiterhelfen. Du hast dort, wie auch hier im Onlineshop ein 30-tägiges Rückgaberecht.
