I thought of a fun little project to try. See if ChatGPT can come up with a recommended setlist based on listener age.
I play solo nylon string guitar with BIAB backing in restaurants and wineries. Mostly Standards. I have dozens of songs and I'm guessing average clientele age is about 50(?), maybe a big more. All my songs are in a specific directory (W11) and I'd like to create a master song list with Title, Style and Tempo. I've already figured how to get a list of song titles into Excel, but does anyone know an easy (non manual) way to grab style and tempo data from BIAB's song file structure? I'm thinking I would submit that list to CHATGPT and ask it to create set lists of about 15 songs. And I'll be happy to post how well this works back here.

I asked the forum's new AI help system the question. Answer is no. "There is no automated way within Band-in-a-Box to automatically append the Style and Tempo information to the song titles".

This is probably not helpful unless someone is in a position to did deeper than I wish to at present, but there is a perl script "biabconverter" that converts BIAB files to .mma or liliypad, which reads the information you want from BIAB SGU/MGU files. It would require surgery to export the information in a way that would really help.
