Having watched a few YouTube videos from PG I wanted to try the DAW mode with Logic. I can create a SW Instrument Track with BIAB and see the empty BIAB interface, but that's about it. I can't load a song, can't load a demo router login, can't generate tracks, can't select a style (it sticks to one). Nothing works. Does anyone actually have a setup that works and could help me or give me a few tips? BIAB 2022 Mac, DAW Plugin 2022 4.8.15, Logic 10.7.9, OSX Venture 13.5.1.

Inside the plugin, please go to File | Preferences and go to the folder paths. Are these paths correct? If not, please click the "select" button for each to select the correct folders. Afterwards open the Style Picker and click the Rebuild button; do a slow Rebuild. If your paths are already correct, then a Rebuild might still help, so please do this step regardless if you had changed the folder paths or not.

So DAW mode is something you use after you create a song file. Leave BiaB is standard mode, type in your chords, select the style, then hit play +
Once it is generated and plays, then you can engage DAW mode. Click on that and then drag the tracks from the top of the screen to your tracks.
other options are as follows:
1. drag from the mixer screen to the drag and drop box (top left hand of the BiaB window)
2. save the song and open in the BiaB plugin app directly in Logic I have done that several times it works great.
3. Some DAWs allow direct drag from the BiaB mixer to the tracks window in the DAW you could try that as well.
Finally once in DAW mode you need the song to be completed and fully generated.

I had this issue about 6 months ago when I downloaded build 507. Before that it was fine. Not that it was something that I used often but I thought that it could come into play if i needed to access Band in a box as a plugin. The problem we talked about in that thread was specifically a AU validation problem that was resolved a few months ago. The OP in this thread likely has a different problem, and the solution is probably the one that Chantelle gave.... but we won't know for sure unless the OP replies at some point.
