It is great to have access to the "Bar Settings" (F5) for use on the Utility Tracks.
And, also, having rests, holds and shots apply to the Utility Tracks!

One small suggestion on the "Bar Settings" dialog box...
Please bring back the "Okay" button on the bottom, next to the "Apply Button".

But thanks for the new changes!!

Okay will apply the changes and exit the dialog.
Apply, doesn't exit.

But thanks for the new changes!!

It's a non jail window now so you can leave it there without automatically clicking Ok then hitting F5 again to wait for it to open again and make more changes.
EDIT: it's also sizable now with scroll bars.

True. You can mouse to another cell and press F5, and your first changes will hold.

True, but I want to hit one button to apply the changes and get the dialog box out of my face...
With ONE click. It seems more efficient to me (and what I'm used to). smile

You might be better with a "Close Apply" button because as I said users are so used to the old OK must be pressed to get back to being able to play or click anywhere else but that is not necessary now as you are not in a jail anymore.

If I go into UserTracks from there I have to click OK to get out after making changes.

I appreciate where you are coming from on this but...
Not everyone is working on a large screen with a lot of real estate. I mainly work on a laptop, and need the dialog box to get out of my way quickly.

So yes, I'm in jail and need to see the whole chord sheet. And, F5 seems to be pretty quick (or even instantaneous), so not a big deal to hit F5, to get it back.

Thanks

The close [X] at the top right does that (or just hit F5 again). Because the settings all update as you enter them anyway, so Apply is superfluous.

Yes, I did just discover this while playing around. Thanks for the clarification.
But, since the "Apply" button is redundant, maybe it can be changed to "Close"?
(Such hard work to mouse all the way up to the "X". smile )

If "Apply" button does nothing, maybe it shouldn't be there, to reduce clutter and confusion. What's the point of having not one, but two identical (but unnecessary) Apply buttons on the F5 screen?

Okay, evidently the "Apply" button DOES do something!
Initially, I had inserted a "Back to Normal" at bar 17 for an instrument that had previously been muted.
That bar then had a "Back to Normal" set for the instrument and showed a red line under bar 17.
and the instrument played at bar 17 (as it should have).

Then... I deleted the "Back to Normal" at that bar...
And bar 17 stayed red and it didn't go back to being muted
(when played back by double clicking on a previous bar)

That is until I clicked on "Apply"...
Then the red line disappeared and the elimination of the "Back to Normal" took affect when played.
The APPLY button did APPLY for me. (SO MAYBE IT'S NOT REDUNDANT?)

F.Y.I.
Thanks.

Thanks for the update, which makes PG Music's comment above a little more confusing in it's usage:
