Very cool tune! A tidy write with fabulous vocals and sax work. The band rests were a a nice little touch. Great job!

It's a very well done song, great accompaniment (a little retro side). The vocals are very well placed and the sax solo is pretty.
There is elegance and serenity in all of this.

Enjoyed the song. Liked the 50s style. Excellent vocalist. And that sax is to die for.

Nigel,

I really enjoyed this. Susan really came through for you! And the sax - so smooth and dreamy!

Nice lyric and arrangement. Loved it!

I'm always awaiting a new one from you. This is a great example of why@!

Good one, Nigel!! I can hear 4-part doowoop. Susan sounds so good. What a good feel. Ooo, that sax is dripping with feeling. I love how you build this song, always adding something special and that piano is such a good bed for it all to lay on. You know, when the song is over, I just want to argue that YES I DO.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Nigel, a 50's ballad at its best.
Great vocal and sax lead.
The backing band is spot on for this era.
Outstanding song.

Reminds me of the movie "Back to the Future" in a good way.
Beautiful vocals and saxophone from Susan and Carmel.

Simple and direct - fitting the period it's aiming for. Minimal, which makes everything that is there more effective.

Susan does a great job on the vocal, as does Carmel on the sax.

Nice work! laugh

Very much an old school vibe, and nothing wrong with that in my book.

Vocal and Sax are excellent!

Good song, Nigel, enjoyed.

Nigel,

Listened to this a couple of days ago . . . now listening a second time. Susan’s vocals are killer . . . really nice tone and richness in her voice, and it sits perfectly in the mix. Like the write a tone, with the “You Don’t Love Me” refrain. Good classic bridge sound. And the sax solo is full and expressive. My only disappointment . . . and it’s a subjective thing . . . is wanting Susan to go a bit “bigger” at the end of this song. I think it would have taken it to the next level . . . .but artistic instincts will differ . . . and that’s all good. Pretty awesome as is!

Really does hit the era/style well.
Good to hear your originals again.
The stop at 1.20 could use a little delay or something to up the drama but it works well as is.

Cheers
