I was working on a song, last night, and everything sounded perfect. The last thing I did after saving the song was to Save Special as a WAV file. When I open the song (not WAV file) in BIAB [Band-in-a-Box® for Windows Version 2024 (1102) 64 bit application] and pressed play - it started the beats and then started the song (as normal), but then it started the beats and song again over the song that had started a few seconds earlier (2 songs playing at once). Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Rename or move your song's Wav file. As it has the same name as the SGU file it loads automatically.

That’s the Why.
About the How, the easiest ways are 1) don’t have a WAV file in the same folder with the same name as your song, or 2) Mute the audio track playing the WAV file.
If they are not syncing up when played together, there is an option in the audio settings of BIAB to synchronize MIDI and audio. It loads a test file and you adjust the timing until they match up.
