My small C drive is almost full so I need to move some files off of it. The BB 2024 Soloist folder occupies about 17 GB, so moving it to another drive will help a little. However, unlike Real tracks and Real Drums, I find no place in preferences where I can specify a location for the Soloists folder.
Am I missing something?

Am I missing something? Hi Dalemccl, Only the Realtracks and Realdrums can be moved out of the \bb folder and to other drives. All other folders need to be within \bb. The other option for you to consider would be to move the whole \bb folder to a new location. Regards, --Noel ★ my latest song: The Best Gift Of All (Thank You, Mama) – vocals by Synthesizer V

The other option for you to consider would be to move the whole \bb folder to a new location. Yes, you can safely install Biab and all its content in an external drive, and run it from there. I, as many other users, do exactly that.

Thanks. Can I just move the bb folder to another drive and then just point the shortcut to the new location of the bbw.exe file? Or do I need to uninstall and re-install?

If you move the \bb folder to another drive on the same computer, all you will need to do is to update the shortcut to point to the new location for BBW64.EXE (if you are running the 64 bit version of BIAB). The registration will also stay in place and not need any adjustments as PG Music register the program to a specific computer. Regards, --Noel • a recent song of mine: Seven Years (with Kevin, a Synth V vocaloid)

Yes, just create a symbolic link for the Soloist folder pointing to the other drive, you can do the same with the Demos folder.

Regards, --Noel ...and if you run into any issues once you've transferred your installation to the external drive, don't forget that there is a very small installation that the program requires to be on your computer to work.
