I was trying out partial regenerate for the first time and ran into a problem. When I used it at first on the fiddle track to regenerate six bars, everything worked out fine, However, when I did it on the mandolin track for a different six bars, all but the regenerated bars were wiped off the track.
If you have time, I'd appreciate you trying it on your system to see if you get the same result. I've reported it to Support and they have suggested some things to try.
Thanks very much for the test. However, it looks like you used bars different than what gave me a problem. Elsewhere seemed to work OK for me, too. If you have time, please use starting bar 43 and 6 bars length for mandolin. I used ALT-F8 for the regen settings. That area has sub-style changes, I think that might be what is causing the problem.
This is confirmed once again, multistyle and partial generation do not work together. This has NEVER worked for me. You have to find a plan B. For example, your zone 43-49 is well regenerated, you keep it. BUT you add the same Mandolin track further down but removing zone 43-49. Plan B obligatory. .

musocity: Thanks for your testing and the Reaper suggestion. Rather not have to use a DAW, but looks like it's my solution until PGMusic fixes the problem.
