I've had this occur while doing several different tracks. I set up bar settings in a bar, then they show up in a different bar. They seem to move around and/or disappear.
2024 Build 1108.
Just another day in the Twilight Zone.... Hmm

This is a known bug, it has been already reported to developers.

I saw this about fixes in Build 1109 (a link for which was posted in another thread... and hoped it would fix the F5 (Bar Settings) problem... "Fixed: F5 dialog was out of sync in some cases"
Installed 1109 and Nope... Still extremely wonky. Bar settings keep changing themselves. Changes made in one bar don't hold in that bar and then show up in a different bar. Keeps happening. Still not usable.

Only briefly looked at it. The audio edit window showed the end of the track for a change ,and where I placed the marker on the volume automation line stayed put when I started playback.
So a solid maybe.

So a solid maybe. I encountered the same problem. Playback is not the same as volume automation node. It comes several bars early or late. 2024 is bad. I will be reverting back to BiaB 2023.

Sorry, I think you may have misinterpreted what I had said. I didn't see the problem when I did my "brief" check and I just went back in to try on another song. tt appears to work okay, with the volume automation staying where I put it, and behaving properly. At least for now it looks okay. Wish I could say the same for the "F5 Bar Settings issue".

Wish I could say the same for the "F5 Bar Settings issue". If Volume Automation is working properly, you can turn on/off instruments at the desired location as you wish, then what's the point of using F5 Bar Setting?

One of the points of Bar setting is you can make changes for all affected tracks in one place. Now that utility tracks are included.
Also. I don't know yet, haven't had time to test, but a BIG problem with volume automation has been, if you add or delete bars, the volume automation doesn't move with the change and you have to go into each track. Individually, to move the markers. This isn't a problem with bar settings

Even you insert or delete bars, going to each track and moving the volume nodes back and forth, is WAY faster than using the Bar Setting window.
