Had the first occasion to use the render to MP3 function on 2024, and I have discovered it slows the tempo of the song? Not by a lot, but certainly a noticeable amount.
Anyone else noticed this, and if so can you advise the issue or fix please?

Hi Joden.
Do you notice the difference when you open the song file and the mp3 is attached as audio? In this case, if you generate the song, and play it, both the audio and the mp3 will play at the same time. If you have a look in the new Tracks View when this is happening, you might be able to see how the audio mp3 file aligns.
If the above is the case, press CTRL+F7 and have a look at "Audio Base Tempo", and check that it is the same value as the BIAB song's tempo.
Recently there was a case where the attached audio played at a slightly different tempo to the song file and audio base tempo was 120 bpm when the BIAB file was 118 bpm.
The above isn't the case, can you provide a little more information such as...
1) Is the rendered file faster or slower? 2) What audio driver are you using in BIAB? 3) Is Windows set to 44.1 kHz (44100 Hz), and what frequency did you render to? 4) Is there a tempo difference if you render to wav rather than mp3?
Regards, --Noel

Thanks Noel - the rendered file was played in Windows Media Player with BIAB closed. The file itself is being slowed down. If I simply drag the parts across to the render box on the manipage (top left) the WAVs are fine. I didn't use the MP3 there as I was unsure of default bit rate. It's why I used it under the Audio tab
1. answered in the OP 2.ASIO 3. 48kHZ 4. didn't check

Have you updated to build 1108? I had a similar problem with the first release if 2024, when attempting to render an mp3 with a 48000 sampling rate. Try updating to 1108. Can access from help options in BIAB or support tab on pgmusic.com website.

thanks AT, would like to try and keep at 48, so I will try TDs suggestion first and if no go, then I'll drop it down to 44 and see what that does.
