I am thinking of changing over to a Mac Mini for on stage and studio work and I assumed, like pretty much every other software I have bought, that I could simply use the MacOS version of BIAB.
But no, that is not the case according to PG Music. I actually have to buy the whole thing again! Albeit with a reduced price, what they call a "crossgrade" but a hefty purchase nonetheless!

I have posted lots of info on how to use the Win content on Mac and vice versa.
You only need to buy the "program only" crossgrade.
If you have the Audiophile version the wav files will just work on Mac, if not you just batch convert the wma to m4a.
So you convert RealTrack and Drums folders and the Demos folders that have wma demos.
You rename the Library folders in the RealTrack folder and in the Direct Input folder to LibraryM.

I have posted lots of info on how to use the Win content on Mac and vice versa.
You only need to buy the "program only" crossgrade.
If you have the Audiophile version the wav files will just work on Mac, if not you just batch convert the wma to m4a.
So you convert RealTrack and Drums folders and the Demos folders that have wma demos.
You rename the Library folders in the RealTrack folder and in the Direct Input folder to LibraryM. oh, very cool! Thanks much for that. That seems a much cheaper option (as I have no choice other than to buy haha) - wonder why the rep did not advise that?

And also the line re Soloists Styles Demos? Do I convert them as well? And is that three separate things or ONE folder called that?

The Demos folder has wma but not the Soloists or Styles, the other demos are in c:\bb\Realtracks\Data
Songs and Lessons has wma
If you just do a search for wma in the bb root all the wma will all show then when search complete you can select all and drag into the Reaper batch encoder with it set to a new drive or folder keeping the source file directory structure.
I tried one file and it save with the extension mp4 but you need m4a so you will need to Bulk Rename.
