David, thanx for this wonderful review.
The head elf is one called Peter and he has generated a music making program and told me to produce and distribute elfin music to the human world. Thus far the response has been positive.

Incredible Mario! Hard to believe you got that much sound and put it together so perfectly in only four hours. I'm jealous. Thanx Brad. It just one of those very unusual days when almost everything I tried fit. That doesn't happen very often. On the other hand I have worked for days on a song, listen to it a couple of days later, then delete the whole thing and say "what was I thinking"! Magnificently beautiful. Lovely, lovely. It's also the 2nd forum post I've listened to today which had me recalling a time in my late teens when I got stuck in a shower when the door jammed. It's how I felt when I only had cold water and a soggy spliff. Not even a towel.

How terrible, not being stuck in the shower or the cold water but that soggy spliff

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
