Sam I Am I have to give you a bit of background information, or else this song might no make any sense. I wrote this as part of an award this month at our department meeting for my colleague and friend Sam. You would have to know him to get all the lyrics and the humor. It's not a serious endeavor on my part and not very cohesive either. Sam loves his theme song, by the way. I created the choir-like vocal effect by singing each of the five vocal parts three times. I also used this song as an excuse to play around with Native Instruments Schema Dark The Wrecking Crew390 Guitar, Electric, Rhythm Metal 4009 Guitar, Electric, Rhythm ModPopHushMuted 3683 Bass, Synth, FunkJeff RealStrings 132 P_16TH 3785 Synth, Background MinimalHipHopDistVoice 3784 Synth, Rhythm MinimalHipHopGhostPads 3785 Synth, Background MinimalHipHopDistVoice RealDrums-ElecHipHopMinimal^5-chor,bkd2 3727 Guitar, Electric, Rhythm GrungePopDist8ths 995 Bass, Electric, HardRockLA 3938 Guitar, Electric, Background AltRockSlowLowSingle RealDrums-RockHardLA^7-BllRide,CrshRde Native Instruments Schema Dark UJAM Virtual Pianist UJAM Striiiings Lyrics are on SoundCloud

Ezekiel, absolute AWESOMENESS! The concept is inspired. I don't know Sam, but I think I do now. And I want some green eggs and ham now, too. Ha! Great lead vocals and choir. Everything sounds clear and the vocals shine despite all the activity in the background. Sam's lucky to have a friend like you. I think.

Will Speare-shaking. Ha! That's a damn cool song. I'm amazed at how well you got the vocals right against such a busy background. Production awesomeness. I take my virtual hat off to you, Scott!

Ezekiel, IMHO this is your best to date. I liked Sam the song and I know I would like your friend Sam. The choir and Sam's speech were perfect - brilliant! Outstanding backing band. Super groove and mix. Loved it.

Hahahaha. Nice portrait. And bonus points for the "duckery" line - it really is a thing! I now have an image of Shakespeare being performed by a paddling of ducks, with Hamlet quacking to Ophelia "Get thee to a duckery!
