This is an invitation to listen to "Het Ei" (The Egg) which I posted on the "I just heard Band-in-a-Box on YouTube" forum, because it's a cover. As the lyrics of the song are essential to understand the story, there's an English translation at the bottom of the video. After having heard/seen it, you'll think differently about frying an egg  I think it's a nice story with Easter coming soon. An enjoyable eggscape from … from? … well, from the pan! I enjoyed the whole treatment of this musical eggscapade. PS: I used to eat a lot of eggs as I was master omletteer, but after almost dying 14 years ago I became allerchick to them!

An enjoyable eggscape from … from? … well, from the pan! I enjoyed the whole treatment of this musical eggscapade. PS: I used to eat a lot of eggs as I was master omletteer, but after almost dying 14 years ago I became allerchick to them! Thank you Waoband! Eggscapade and allerchick.... LOL!

It's a very interesting video.
The folk-like melody sung in Dutch is wonderful.
Although it is a cover , it is a very nice production.
Enjoyed my listen and watch a lot.

Ha! Spent a few summers on a working farm when I was a kid, which provided a somewhat more, uh, pragmatic understanding of the food chain.
Love the vocal arrangement and harmonies on your version. The band arrangement and instruments nestle the vocals like a warm nest. Or sheet.

I'm always surprised how much Dutch I understand without knowing the language. I love the song and the message and what you two make of it. Beautiful drama

I will never think of eggs the same way again. It didnt sound like Real Tracks? Are you playing the guitar parts?

I didn't understand a word BUT I don't need to understand the words to know a good song when I hear one; and I just heard one!
Very clever animation.
Excellent song.
PS - last night we had rice with chicken!
When you are at the checkout line and they ask if you found everything say "Why, are you hiding stuff?"

Thank you! I will never think of eggs the same way again. It didnt sound like Real Tracks? Are you playing the guitar parts? They were 2 guitars, a banjo a bass and a synth. All Real Tracks Elliot. And eggs you buy in a store are unfertilized nowadaus I didn't understand a word BUT I don't need to understand the words to know a good song when I hear one; and I just heard one!
