SO, this piece is an ode to my love of the eighties and New York City in that time period, where everyone just danced and partied and had a good time, everybody was outrageous, everybody was crazy and no one had these stupid, selfish, divisive and ridiculous narratives going on, at least that I could tell. God I miss those days. I am so thankful I got a chance to play the clubs and be a part of that party and rock scene with my band when I was young. This is very much what I sounded like back then. It was crazy. And a stone cold blast. And I loved the hairdos. And the polyester. Be still my beating heart. There is A LOT of guitar in this. The song was born from the guitar hook which comes in immediately, and that is my Telecaster Part 1. Then there are like 3 more Telecaster parts, and two Stratocaster parts, and a keyboard part, where I am playing a DX7 emulation, PLUS a few Real Tracks and more parallel mastering with the Scheps OmniChannel. A couple of Fenders, an amp, and a DX7. Can't beat that sound. Party on. Please don't ask me what this song is about. David,
What an AWESOME song! It sounds like a Bowie and B-52's collaboration. Outstanding stuff!
Your vocal is outrageously cool and brimming with energy.
Love this!

Hi David,
You searched the edges with this song. At least to me. It's very creative, with a very sudden ending, but one that I really had to get used to. I hope she still loves you...
The nice thing was; While I was wondering how you make a song like that, it put a big smile on my face. Even my wife asked if I was okay... I think I love you too (in a right way, of course)

Energetic, and enthusiastic. Like the vibe, and has a definite 80's feel. A fun up tempo number. Excellent

David,
Wow, a really cool 80’s sound to this. Feels so Talking Heads . . . Yeah, this is throwback, and those lead guitars really make it for me . . . along with the killer synths. Well done!
Hope all is well with you,
Deej

Hi, David. The David Byrne vibe is strong with this one! Please just dance, and please do not try and figure out the lyrics or analyze them. There ain't no one who needs to see me dance. But it was a fun listen!

David, STOP MAKING SENSE! Very, VERY cool throwback to those kinder, gentler, sweatier times. Masterful layering of instruments to create that pulsating groove. Backing in the day you couldn't throw a beer in a crowded dance hall without hitting a DX7. Thanks for remembering!

My instincts told me that you've been doing music for a while. I can see you rockin out in nightclubs back in the big hair 80's. But I do hope the "she" in this song is your wifey, or you may be saying "move over rover, the big dog's movin in" Lots of high energy in this one and as always great guitar work.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2025 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Thanks Bob! I will take that! The B-52s were awesome. Saw them and Bowie live back in the day. Nothing like those two today.Nothing. I am sorry but not even close.

David, loved the flashback to the good old days that this song gave me; the 80's were almost as good as the 60's. Loved that groove and those guitars! Super vocal but I don't know what the lyrics were all about but since I was told not to ask I won't. You have a fantastic imagination.

Wow! This is crazy good. Sounds like something Talking Heads might have done back in the day. Can't go wrong with Tele's and Strat's playing through Fender amps in my book Excellent, David, enjoyed very much.

"And when she loves me I say hey, hey hey"
Ineffable indeed.
Hey, hey, hey is what I say whenever I hear one of your songs, David. I find it best not to wear any expectations because I am always blown away with your creations. This is wildly good, man.

You hit on the money, this does sound a lot like the 80's man. I can only imagine what you were like in the 80's, no wait a minute - that makes my head hurt. It probably did yours too!

Please don't ask me what this song is about.
I think I know . It's about "keeping it real"...and you did. Thats one important element that I very much like about your music.

A cross between Devo and the Talking Heads. 45 years too late. Good job

Hey thanks Hans!
I am glad I brought a smile.
If your wife ever thinks you're not okay though, I can't help that.
Afraid you are going to have to work that out on your own bro!

My only gripe is that I'd rather have had some variety in the hey hey area. The Stacked Strats The vocals would sit over a Devo angularity well, (say their version of Satisfaction) As it stands, sits, bends and breaks it's a cool thing.
