A new version is of Logic Pro is available for both the Mac and IPad. It delivers on some new features that backing track creators may find useful. It’s clear AAPL is aware of the features BIAB currently delivers.
The Logic Forum is abuzz with lovers and haters alike (sound familiar) but there is some useful info in between all the noise.

Can’t provide any real info on it working with BIAB . I’m on travel for a while and limited to IPAD version only. it’s feature rich but the UI differences at first seem daunting. There’s no ability to use BIAB with the IOS version either. Bummer. Kind of wish I had carried the old MacBook Pro.

Yep Music Tech Guy knows his stuff and is a very good teacher. I mostly use Studio One Pro but I do Logic Pro as well. They are both fine DAWS. I have always liked the Drummer in Logic and now it's even better. I have not got to play too much with the new piano and bass but I am sure I will like it as well. I also use EZ Bass and EZDrummer3 and EZKeys2. However what is really good with the Logic stuff is you don't have to buy a bunch of midi packs. They have put a lot of thought into the design of these new instrument and they sound great.

Logic Drummer has taken an effort to be useful in my work. I’ve got the Logic percussionist to the point I often add the extra track to a BIAB real drum track.,,
It looks like there are some enhancements to drummer that should make it even more useful. I too use ezkeys and ezdrummer mostly to change the voices of the BIAB midi tracks.
Hopefully BIAB drum stems will continue to improve. So far my experience with them has been hit or miss. Sometimes very good, other time less good. I’m sure it will get better moving forward.
