Back in 2022 I recorded this melody as an instrumental with Scott Collingwood (https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14507622)...with the rise of Fresh Fire (my virtual band) I decided to write lyrics to the melody....I changed the style a bit (a lot actually) and gave the kids their shot at it...so...if you do...thanks for listening...Dan

Love the folk-rock feel of this song... The vocals sound excellent (and Fresh Fire is such a cool name).

Great tracks selection and an awesome mix really top this one off.

Well...Dan! Really nice tune, and Fresh Fire sounds fabulous. Whatever you're doing with those vocalists sounds really pleasing to my ears. And your nylon string guitar from the Genos fooled me completely. That's some really skilled action. Anyway...loved it!

Ron...I always appreciate your comments...(full disclosure) I only played a few note on the nylon in the interlude...the great acoustic leads were Brent Mason (a slight difference in musicianship)...but thanks! Dan

Dan, not only are you a fantastic writer of Christian songs you also have mastered the synth vocals.
You also have a knack for choosing the perfect backing bands for your songs.
You are also a fantastic musician.
Loved the lyrics.
Loved the song.

Just as I am big fan of firesong, I am quickly becoming a huge fan of Fresh Fire. Hmmm. Bet you have a lot to do with that, Dan. You write consistently good songs. I'm also a big Scott Collingwood fan, and, since I haven't heard that one, I had to listen first. Man, Scott, you are really quite amazing in your ability to interpret any song in such a personal and perfect way. Just brilliant, man.

Wow, definitely the best way to experience this, Dan. It's really quite impressive how you seamless can just add lyrics, and heighten the intensity with some great vocals. This is simply great, showing masterful talent.

I tell folks I pay tribute to Jesus everyday. I start off drinking water all day, and then at night I change it to wine. smile

You writing skills are on display here. Quailty - start to finish. SUPERB prosody.
Excellent production - so good you don't notice it. (that's a compliment).
Nice piano - it sits JUST right. Full, Very supportive. Comfortable.
Amazing nylon lead...
Excellent mix.

We listened to both versions and the feeling of transformation comes through well on both.

Janice said she could just hear her Mama saying, “they ought to perform that beautiful song at the Revival!”

Fresh Fire and the band sound great and the mix is as Gregg Allman would say "it's hittin' the note!"
