They say she looks a lot like me, I know this is how God meant it to be, I praise him for, a daddy's girl. When I see her on her knees in prayer, praying to the Lord up in the air, I'm proud to say, she's daddy's girl, She writes with her left and her eyes are blue, but you know what mine are too, I thank my God for a daddy's girl. Chorus: I remember she'd say "Daddy Pray", I could always kiss the hurt away, I've found her love for God, so warm and true. And I know that every time she sings, her voice, up in heaven rings, I thank my God, for a daddy's girl. This song really grew on me the more I listened . . . that is, the opening seemed, well, OK lyrically . . . but as the song went on, the lyrics expanded a bit and that lovely, sincere vocal gave it just the right touch. Yeah . . . I think I'm digging this. I can see it sung at a wedding . . . well done!

Ronnie, what a lovely, heartfelt song! Takes me back to another time when sentimental songs like this were much more popular. But singing about someone you love never really goes out of fashion, does it? Super song, and happy 35th to your daughter!
