I'm just a home recording artist now, and I'm using Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio. All is fine, except when I purchased an Effects bundle from Melda Production, something strange happens.
When I add one of their effects to a track (ie lead Vocal) the sound "jumps" from the center to the left side. I turn the effect off, it's back in the center. I've tried everything I could think of, but no luck. I've contacted Melda, but they couldn't help me eithe. If anybody has a good ideal why this weird thing happens, please let me know.

I began in 1970 with a 7 piece dance band. I had other bands, but my most successful one was "The four Windows", a 4 piece guitar band. Many concerts, TV shows, Record contract with EMI and a guitar hit in 1982 in Europe with my "Lonely Seagull".

I used to use Mixcraft and I thought their product support was good. Did you try them?
It may turn out to be two companies pointing the finger at each other, but I think your instincts are right to ask the plugin company first. Is there a Mono/Stereo mode for this plugin? Is it only intended for one track mono? If so, perhaps that's why it is outputting only on the left channel (which is the default side in audio applications when only one channel is used).
Do you (or a friend) have a different DAW to experiment with, and narrow down the problem?

It could be that the FX is set to mono, which by default only sends to the left channel.

Both companies are very small. I don't think that they are one-man shops but they could easily be nowadays. I use a few Melda plug-ins and have no troubles but I'm on a Mac and cannot run Mixcraft. I honestly don't know what Signature means in this context. Perhaps a short explanation or sample would help? Because you're asking about Mixcraft, I already know that you are running Windows — other than that, I know nothing about your setup. If you look at Matt's and my posts, you will see that we give basic information about our BIAB version, OS, hardware, preferred DAW and anything else that we think anyone answering a question might need to know. This is our Signature and we Create/Edit in our user profile so that it appends automatically to every post we put up. To get there, click onto your name at the left of your post and select the "Edit Profile" link. A new screen will appear. Now click onto your name in the upper-right and a drop-down menu will appear. Now, click on Edit Profile and you should see how to do it. if you want to add color or certain links, click onto UBBCode and you'll find instructions for html that you can enter.

Melda is a couple guys, but mostly one person.
Melda's plugins are quite stable on every DAW I have tried, but Mixcraft being one of the most wonky ones, I'm not surprised if it has problems with lots of plugins.
