Seems to be massive problems with adding Lyrics in notation window. Have re entered numerous times each time (and double checked), when I reopen Lyrics are moved or deleted or exchanged. Have stepped through song in the EDIT window then double checked & saved but still everything seems to get changed ad hoc on reopening. Has anyone had this issue? Also, when I tried to use the Copy Special Lyrics it deleted all Lyrics

Seems to be massive problems with adding Lyrics in notation window... Yes, I have the same question as Rob. Windows (as per your signature), or Mac (as per this specific forum)? WIN 10, BIAB WIN2022, Studio One 5, Audient iD4

If this is your setup, you have posted this question in the wrong place WIN 10, BIAB WIN2022, Studio One 5, Audient iD4 If it really is a Mac question, please let us know what version of BIAB you are running and your exact macOS. In addition, please describe exactly what you are doing and how so that any of us can try to duplicate the problem.

Sorry about the signature (I have WIN & MAC) but just using MAC these days (Now adjusted) So... I scored a song Verse 1, Verse 2, Chorus, Verse 3, Chorus, Chorus, Tag end (60 bars) Stepped through (TAB) in notation entering the Lyrics for V1, V2, Chorus, V3, Tried to copy special Lyrics only to next chorus. Result was removal of all Lyrics (opened my back up) tried again same result. When I then attempted to the step though and add the 2nd chorus manually, I found words missing in earlier work, thought it was my mistake so corrected. As I corrected and continued to add Lyrics and play song & check all seemed OK until I closed & reopened, Lyrics then moved around with no logical pattern. The which I know I corrected changed to another word from with in the song. Re-did this several times over several days making revision copies as I went. No luck. On several occasions rather than correcting with the "L" tool I stepped through and edited with the "E" edit box deleting & Editing text in the edit dialogue window. All fine until I reopened then Lyrics all over the shop. I have over 100 finished songs which I have scored with Lyrics (most in WIN but some in MAC) so I'm used to the usually glitches you get along the way (WIN is easier for Lyrics as you can slide the but not perfect) However, this is really weird (Maybe a corrupt file)?? Regards Col

So...I'm going to mark as resolved at this stage. Maybe the original file I created was corrupted?
I eventually opened the file in question in BIAB 2022 for Windows and edited the lyrics.
It seems to have accepted the "new" windows saved file OK. (Maybe that cleared any corruption issues?
I've played the song through now on several occasions & it seems OK
I'll create another similar new song this week in BIAB 2024 MAC and see what happens next.

I am having a similar issue to the one described above by the original post. Note-based lyrics are not editing/saving correctly. I have tried various work-arounds to fix or re-enter the lyrics, but they always seem to produce random placement of the corrections. No matter how many times I try to correctly enter the lyrics, they somehow do not save correctly. I cannot consistently re-create this behavior since it seems too random.
Is there any known additional info/resolution of this issue? I am on BIAB for MAC Version 2023 (707).

This thread was marked as resolved and hasn't been updated in close to a year, plus the OP was using a different version of BIAB than you have. Please start a new thread, as it will be much easier to keep track of your issue there.
