SUMMER SHOWER
https://www.reverbnation.com/kaynemusic/song/34573789-summer-showerI wrote this on a nylon classical guitar as a cool little open mic piece. The lyrics just happened all at once in about 10 minutes. I tried for a long time to get BIAB to arrange it, and it wasn't until they added the Micro Chords feature that I was able to get it to work.
I brought the core arrangement into Cubase, and played the guitar parts, bass, keys, strings added drum loops, and SynthV vocal arrangements. Mixed using various Wav plug-ins.

I stood out in summer shower
felt the cool clear rain
I just stood / there for hours
to wash away my pain
Then I saw a rainbow glisten
In the summer sky
If you take the time to listen
you can hear me cry
you can hear me cry OH
When you see the stars burn brightly
on the Milky Way
Lie down in the grass and count them
As I passed away
Can you feel a summer breeze
blowing through your mind
Smell the earth and the trees
be one with the grand design
be one with the grand design OH
I flew out into the sunset
into the southern clouds
I lost all inhabitation
and all self-doubt
Looking on the earth below me
a tiny shining sphere
All the pain and earthly problems
I felt them disappear
And I disappeared OH
When you stand in a summer shower
and feel the cool clear rain
Reach out and touch the power
you’ll never feel the same
