Bring It On Home To MeHi Folks, This is my version of the Sam Cooke song "Bring it On Home To Me". Sam Cooke is considered one of the most influential soul artists of all time and is commonly referred to as the "King of Soul" for his distinctive vocals and pioneering song writing. During his tragically short eight-year career, Cooke released 29 singles that charted in the Top 40 of the Billboard Pop Singles chart, as well as 20 singles in the Top Ten of Billboard's Black Singles chart. In 1964 at the age of just 33 Cooke was shot and killed by the manager of a motel in Los Angeles. Very nice track indeed, Nigel! GREAT lead vocals and harmony, and the best use of the BiaB doo-wop RTs I've heard. That organ solo just slides right in perfectly, too. A very vibrant, fun rendition of this classic.

The Great Sam Cooke.... cool song and very nicely done cover of it. I really loved that B3 solo . Kinda makes me wanna write some "slow gospel feel" blues just so I can play around with that one.

I love the original Sam Cooke cut with Lou Rawls doing the backup vocals, but this is also a great version. It really stands on its own.

Oh, you can't go wrong with Sam Cooke --well, at least you can't go wrong with one of his songs. I asked my wife if we could move to New Zealand.
What a terrific take on this beauty. I've played this in so many bands. It was actually one I could play and sing at the same time. hehe I liked ending it with a fast walk to the end --like Bring it on home, boys!
Your vocal is peerfect and the production is fabulous. You always pick the best bandmates. That piano is sensational. What a great feell you have going on here. Sam himself would be tapping his toes to this one. So well done, Nigel. Do you take requests? hehe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track.
