We tried the offered suggestions. There were huge problems with the stereo RealDrums in that any attempt to give the thing some top end raised the hihats too. The M.E. seems to have added a little of the necessary for me..more surgical ears & equipment.
Deej, as usual, as expected, as brings joy, did a SUPERB job writing, singing and mixing.
Alison did a fab job too.

Ray & Deej,

Cool, powerful song. The fx on Deej's vocal at the1:50 mark, and then again around the 3:40 mark, was an unexpected pleasure. Loved the organ. Nice work on the video! Alison always comes through with the perfect cello lines. I also liked the strong bass line.

Tip of the proverbial hat to all involved. nice work, folks.

Alan

Love this version, you guys just CRUSH it. That's such a delicious progression, and the shifting placement of Deej's (amazing) vocals is perfect. The bass part isn't flashy, but is SO right, and anchors the whole track for me. The guitar and cello parts are also played and placed to great effect in support of the song. GREAT job...

Thanks Alan,
The vocal FX are Deej's choices and he did a fab job at that aspect amongst the writing, performing & engineering.

The powerful vocals are full of dynamics and the varying fx sound great!

Ray’s bass is perfect in tone and also in being the anchor for the song and his guitar sits in very nicely.
Alison’s cello is warm and smoooooth.

The BiaB guys work so well and the solo is a good one!

The video is excellent! All the scenes fit the lyric wonderfully (ex: “sense your presence” and “breathing soft” with the lacy curtains).
The outdoor scenery makes us want to go there! Just all of it is so good.

We loved the audio and the vid and we think that Ray’s is such a good listener that he truly knows what will bring out the vocalist’s best qualities.

Great collab y’all!

I enjoyed this earlier when DJ put out the audio. This sounds fantastic and is one of the best songs and productions on the forum this year. Love Allison's cello work too.

It was a quick and productive collaboration. Deej is fab to work with as is Alison...she was keen to participate to avoid thinking about the state US politics.
The vieo was pretty esy and Alison can be relies upon to provide good footage.

Thanks Scott,
The guitars are nice but none cost more than AUS$300...in fact the bass was $105.
