Well I'm breaking a rule with this one but I searched for a BiaB track to fit it and couldn't...it's a bit unique for me...it's in 12/8 time (wish there were more real tracks)...it's only 2:35 long (half of a song for me)....it has no modulations or multiple key changes (what the what?)...but I thought it had a pretty melody and it's piano based (that will be obvious)...and it's new (thankful to be writing again)...so...if you do thanks for giving it a listen...Dan All of Creationhttps://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14835313Vocals: Natalie and Hayden (Synthesizer V) I added the Yamaha CFX Concert Grand Piano from the Genos Workstation Keyboard

Dan, sometimes all one needs is a little inspiration, an instrument, and a little perspiration to create the perfect song. You accomplished that with this song.

Dan, super song, and nicely arranged and performed. Writing a short song can be tricky (for me) but I think you've nailed the musical/lyrical arc to tell this story in a succinct yet satisfying way. Great mix, too. Fantastic job!

Really gorgeous. Nice work. Those harmonies are especially well done.
The way I look at the "rule" that you need to use BB tracks is... yeah.... if you are a regular contributor to this forum with rule compliant songs.... the occasional outlier is perfectly fine.... It's the folks who don't use BB and come here to promote their new non-PG related song that I take exception with.

Yes, BIAB is lacking in some genres. Maybe they will get better in the modern folk styles at some stage.

This is a lovely song and the lone piano accompaniment is truly all that is needed.
What a perfect example of an instance where less is more.
Natalie and Hayden certainly earned their studio fees on this one.

I'm a sucker for 12/8, 6/8 and 3/4 music in general. This is a double winner for me as I also enjoy solo piano ballads so let me say that I love this and after hearing more of your music I note the strong melodic quality of your compositions.
