Hi, still finding my way around. I hope I can formulate the question I have enough to get the help I need. Unfortunately, I didn't record the errors I was getting. But there were a couple including something or other "not found".
Here's basically what happened. In RealBand, I was working on a song for which I used RealTracks and some Midi. I generated a miditrack of piano in just one little section but when I did, the syncopation of the main drum track was off in that same section. Then I couldn't regenerate the messed up section of the drumtrack. It kept giving me errors and everything pretty much froze up. I had to use the Esc key to exit. Thoughts?
Separate issue, but I'm also not sure why when I generate a midi track, I always get an additional drum track even if I chose piano or some other instrument. If someone could explain that...I have a feeling I'm doing something wrong to make that happen.
There is a separate Realband forum that would be a better place to post this issue as Realband users will see it and jump in to help. The link to the forum is below.
When I use partial regeneration in Realband 2024 (build 5), I always have "Snap to grid" on. This button is located in the block of buttons that sit immediately above Track 1 (#1 on the attached image). Having 'snap to grid' on helps align things better. I then drag across the bars I want to regenerate to select them, click on the "Generate" (#2) button and select "Regenerate track - Realdrums" (#3).
I hope this helps. --Noel
P.S. I don't have an answer for you regarding your other problem. I'll investigate that tomorrow and see if I can discover something
Thanks for your reply, Noel. Pointing out the snap to grid is indeed helpful. Also, thankfully, when I closed and then reopened the project, I was able to then regenerate the drums. I'll post my other question to the RealBand thread. Thanks!
