(ie. https://andyshearer.bandcamp.com/track/wonderland). This new version combines a funky bass guitar and Synth drums backing (from BIAB 2024) with my own electric guitar, Irish bouzouki, 12-string guitar & slide guitar playing. The forest flute melody is played on an Ensoniq SQ1 Plus keyboard synth, and the cello chops and pizzicato strings (near the end) are from a Roland GR-20 guitar synth connected to my Fender Stratocaster Plus. I really like the way this instrumental picks up as it goes along. The instrumentation and arrangement are excellent.

Andy, cool song, joyfully played. Sounds like you're having a lot of fun with your many instruments! Especially like your guitar synth, since that's a guilty pleasure of mine. Thanks for posting!

Especially like your guitar synth, since that's a guilty pleasure of mine. Thanks! I find that my guitar synth can be a big distraction at times, but it does have some very nice sounds that can be used sparingly to embellish any song mix.

So well packed with the perfect backing instruments so well played, Andy. Thoroughly enjoyed. Man, I miss my ESQ-1. You make it sound so good. The bouzouki was another excellent choice and played so well.

Thanks Marty. I'm glad that I kept my ESQ1. I don't use it that often these days, but it does have some really nice tones that I haven't been able to find on more modern synths. The forest flute is one that I'll definitely use again on future songs.
