Has anyone found a way to control the volume of BiaB's output, aside from selecting each instrument and decrementing its "volume" setting? That's very tedious -- especially since BiaB forgets what you've set every time it replays even the same file! Isn't there some global way to do this?
What I'm trying to do is balance the volume of a (fairly low output) guitar and BiaB, both playing through a since USB interface.

Hi,
This is not a solution for BIAB, but I would suggest saving your file as a midi file. Then importing it into the sequencer of your choice. I rough out tunes in BIAB and import the midi files into Garage Band or Logic. There you can do whatever you want. The only hangup I have found is that the bass midi file is 1 octave too low. So I have to transpose it an octave up. Apart from that, it's great.

Yes of course it's possible to do it that way. It's also very tedious and time-consuming -- OK for working extensively on one song, but it requires setting up each song. If you use BiaB (as I do) largely as a practice tool for improvising, you want to be able to switch from song to song quickly. I could devote an afternoon to converting my whole library to Logic projects, but really ... So many of the virtues of BiaB have to do with its being an "on the fly" tool.
