Downward Spiral - RevisitedI re-mastered this song from about 6 years ago. It's a melancholic yet somewhat dark pop-rock guitar instrumental. I'm working on a couple of new songs, but I 've not had the time to polish them as Di's recovery from her heart-attack keeps my pretty busy. When they're ready to post, I'll do so. Thanks In Advance. Alan, fun to hear the way you squeeze such entertaining performances from BiaB. Love those changes. Know it's melancholy and and a "downward spiral" and all that, but I found the way melodic lines kept climbing out of the mix very uplifting. Unsettling but cool. Super mix/master, as always! Cool Fibonacci spiral in the pic. Yes, melancholic and dark. That's a good fit. Yet there is a dreamy felling to it. There is something --maybe the synth-- that seems to occasionally bring in unwanted (to me) interference with the flow. I first noticd it at 0:36ish. Since no one else mentioned it... But the synth otherwise adds so much. Love the mood and feel of this, Alan.

I wouldn't call that melancholic or "almost tension-filled", but serene, dream and gorgeous!
